Our exploration of the Mekong Delta continues with visit to the small islands where tropical fruits could be found and tasted.

Along the river where you can experience the stillness of the air and the beautiful scenery of the Delta area.
Reaching the land, you can find jack fruit trees along the way to the village.

We were treated to tropical fruits like papaya, jack fruits, pineapples and dragon fruits. There was a cultural folk song troupe to entertain us during the tea session.

We were taken on a horse ride through the village road to another village to experience the life of its inhabitants.
Be prepared to get sun burn provided you bring along sun lotion, hat and umbrella.

The bees are kept in the housing box to obtain honey in the village. We were given some honey to try during our visit to the village.
There are many interesting aspects of the village life of the inhabitants in the Mekong Delta area for you to experience. The cultural folk songs were beautifully sung by the troupe that entertained us.
