There are many Char Koay Teow hawker stalls in Penang Island but this one is quite special. It is good and is highly recommended. Be warned that you might have to wait. The stall is open only for a few hours mainly for lunch.

Pulau Tikus is a popular place for locals to do their daily marketing (wet market for fresh vegetables, chickens and meats) and breakfast. There are many hawker food available in the few coffee shops around the market.
The Penang Curry Mee stall is popular with office workers who have their breakfast before leaving for work in the morning.
The stall is recommended for the curry soup. The bowl of curry mee comes with a good variety of ingredients like cockles, prawns, dried cuttlefish, tao pok, and mint leaves.

The Orchard covers 25 acres and has 200 species of tropical fruits & exotic spices. There is a fully guided tour to the orchard and takes around an hour.
The showroom full of tropical fruits for visitors to see and sample. You can always try out the various fruits during your tour of the orchard.
There are various tropical fruit juices, cut fruits, local rojak, fruit ice and chendol for sale.
My favourite is the Fruit Ice.
Recommended to try the Fruit Ice or what the locals called Ice kachang.
Be warned, there is no kachang inside, instead there are only tropical fruits and mango or durian puree. Penang Chendol
If you are in Penang for a few days, you should take a drive around the island. It is during this journey, you will be driving along Jalan Telok Bahang, and you should take a break by going up the hill at Batu18 to the "Tropical Fruit Farm" and sample the delicious Fruit Ice and Chendol.
The view around the Tropical Fruit Farm Building is breath-taking. Take a stroll around to enjoy the scenery or take a conducted tour to the orchard. It is worth your time.

To locate the restaurant "Restoran Crab Village ", look out for this sign along Tanjung Bungah Road near the Hollywood Cafe on the way downtown from Tanjung Bungah.

There are a few car park lots in the front porch of the restaurant.
The Restaurant signature dish is Crab baked in a wok until crab shell is almost burnt.

You can dine inside the restaurant or in the open air.You can have some side-order from a stall in the compound of the restaurant. The hawker serves very good Fried Rice, Fried Oyster with eggs, Shark Fin Soup and other noodles dishes.

The crabs are full of egg roe. They are really very special and taste delicious.
They are prepared by baking in a wok until the shell is almost burnt. Eat the crab as prepared in order to taste the crab in its originality.
If you need a chilli taste, there is a chilli sauce provided.I don't think you can find this specially prepared baked crab anywhere except in this restaurant and another, near the Tanjong Tokong temple which is also operated by the same family.
Be prepared to pay for RM50 a kilogram for the crab. If you are in Penang, you should pay a visit to this restaurant if you are a crab lover. It is highly recommended.
