Thailand is famous for Buddhist temples. Wat Mahawan was believed to be built around 657AD in the reign of Pharanang Chammathewi. The temple is rich in its architecture and artistic work on the buildings. A visit is recommended if you happen to be in ChiangMai, Thailand for a vacation.
