We were looking for a place to have dinner after shopping in Queensbay Mall in Penang, Malaysia recently. As we heard so much of Shanghainese specialties like "Xiao Long Bao", we decided on the famous Dragon-i Restaurant.
The Dragon-i Restaurant has many outlets in Malaysia especially in Kuala Lumpur and this one in Penang is located in QueensBay Mall, Lot No 2F-7, 78, 79 and 81. They are open daily from 11 am to 10 pm.
The Dragon-i Restaurant is famous for its "La Mien" or "Hand Pulled Noodles and "Xiao Long Bao".
View of the Dragon-i Restaurant from outside in the shopping Mall. The decor is interesting for a restaurant and it is always full. You have queue for your turn to be served.
Meat Bao
The famous "Xiao Long Bao". It is one of the best Xiao Long Bao we have tasted.

The famous "La Mian" or "Hand Pulled Noodles". It was first introduced in China over 400 years ago during the Ming Dynasty. Masterful chefs stretched and pulled the noodles repeatedly until they achieve a unique texture that is soft, smooth and yet springy.
