Shopping in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

There are many shopping centres in Ho Chi Minh City but one of the popular one is Saigon Tax Trade Centre. Many 5-star hotels have shuttle to this centre and the Ben Thanh Market.



Saigon Tax Trade Centre has many shops in the air-conditioned complex except most shops have fixed price for their mechandise. The fun of bargain is not there.


There is a supermarket on the second floor of the Saigon Tax Trade Centre where you can get your drinking water and other Vietnamese products.

There is a Highlands Cafe on the third floor where you can sample Vietnamese Coffee. You can even buy the coffee from the supermarket on the second floor.

There are many arts and ceramic souvenirs shops in the complex. You can find many clothings shops as well. The price is not as cheap as those in the Ben Thanh Market.

The Diamond Plaza has many branded products including clothings but they are not cheap as they are mostly imported. There are many fast food shops too.


You can find a supermarket on the third floor and also a games arcade on the fourth floor.

There is a Food Court on the third floor where you can find local and western food been offered.


The Parkson departmental store has clothings ( men & ladies), household goods, cosmetics and many other products like any departmental store in Singapore. Most of the clothings are branded and is not much cheaper than those offered in Singapore.


There is a supermarket and a Food Court in the third floor. You can get Malaysian, Singapore, Chinese (Dim Sum) and Vietnamese food in the food court. The price is reasonable from S$3 onwards.


Eden Mall in 106 Nguyen Hue Avenue, District 1 has many shops selling all sorts of goods, from clothings to souvenirs.
