Dessert CHENG TNG in Singapore

Bedok Food Centre (Bedok Corner) is located at the junction of end of Upper East Coast Road and the start of Bedok Road where you can find many good hawker food especially satay, mee rebus and Cheng Tng

There is a public car park next to the Bedok Food Centre but it is always full in the evening during dinner time.

In the Bedok Food Centre ( "Bedok Corner" hawker centre), there is a dessert stall where you can find the favourite Cheng T'ng. It is Stall 31. I could not see any English name for the stall.

The CHENG T'NG comes in cold or hot. It is really good with many ingredients for S$2.00.

The hot Cheng T'ng

You must be prepared to wait for at least half an hour during the peak lunch or dinner time as there is always a long queue. It is worth the wait as it is one of the best Cheng T'ng in Singapore. Even though there is a public car park next to the centre, it is difficult to find a vacant lot.

Hawkers in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Don't be surprised to see hawkers selling their wares in Ho Chi Minh City.

Even though there are hawkers in Food Courts in shopping malls, there are still many hawkers selling food on the side-walks of roads around Ho Chi Minh City.

Locals are enjoying their food on the road-side sitting on low stools.

Even in places near the hotels, there are hawkers selling food on the road-side.

A typical hawker selling buns and other food on the road-side.

Penang Chee Cheong Fun in Pulau Tikus, Penang

To locate the Chee Cheong Fun Hawker Push Cart, look out for this coffee Shop, Kedai Kopi KWAI LOCK which is at the junction of Jalan Burmah and Solok Moulmein in Pulau Tikus, Penang.

The push cart hawker stall is at the side of KWAI LOCK coffee shop and along Solok Moulmein.
You can either eat on the tables in the open provided by the coffee shop or you can order take-away.

The stall is popular with locals having Chee Cheong Fun for breakfast or order take-away, after their daily marketing in the wet market nearby.

The Chee Cheong Fun is good and recommended. The prawn paste and the chilli make the Chee Cheong Fun special in taste.

You should be able to find the hawker stall without any problem. Try it out if you happens to be in the area.

Famous Ah Leng Penang Char Koay Teow

The Famous Ah Leng Penang Char Koay Teow is located at the junction of Jalan Dato Keramat and Jalan Dunlop. Look out for this Kafe Khoon Hiang, the stall is in the shed infront of the coffee shop.

The Famous Ah Leng Char Koay Teow can be said to be one of best of all hawker delicacies in Penang Island. It is so popular that the coffee shop is always crowded with customers waiting for their plates of char koay teow.

Penang Char Koay Teow

There are many Char Koay Teow hawker stalls in Penang Island but this one is quite special. It is good and is highly recommended. Be warned that you might have to wait. The stall is open only for a few hours mainly for lunch.
