A visit to the Air Itam Reservoir, Penang

You need a car to get up to the Air Itam Reservoir. You have to drive through Jalan Ayer Itam, Jalan Pasar, past the Air Itam market and then through the base of Kek Lok Si Temple, all the way to the reservoir. Along the way you can make 2 stops to visit the Kek Lok Si Temple as well.
The road up is very narrow and watch out for coming vehicles though there are not many vehicles along the stretch of road up to the reservoir.
The scenery of the reservoir with the landscape blooming with many flowers is beautiful and worth visiting if you have a few hours to spare when you are in Penang.
